2011... Its about time!!

Well, I am ready for 2011!! I don' t know what it holds for me but I'm looking forward to finding out!! What are you guys planning for this new year? Are you making any resolutions?? I honestly haven't thought of making any resolutions. I think if anything, it would be to start school again, get my Interior Design degree or my certificate. Maybe I'll meet someone awesome and get married.... haha..... Thats a funny joke I like to say sometimes, it just gets me everytime!! Whatever happens in my life will happen when its supposed to, and I'm not going to try and get in the way of it anymore, it never works out when you try to fix things yourself.

Anyway, I just wanted to say to you all, have a great New Year, I hope its full of wonderful surprises and happiness!! You guys are so awesome and I'm really glad the few of you read my blog, it makes it more fun to blog when you know people are reading :) Love you guys!!!

Dear Snow:

I hate you. Usually I can handle you, but right now, I hate you. You made a usually 20 minute drive an hour and 15 minutes. It wasn't the 30 minutes driving to 2700 that got to me, it was the part where I almost made it up the hill, but then got stuck behind a stupid van and then got someone else stuck behind me so I was stuck for 10 minutes, then after I was finally able to make it up the hill somewhat after going back completely down and starting over, another stupid idiot thought it would be a good idea to get stuck again right in front of me. By this time I was pretty angry and yelling alot when I look behind me and see my mom right behind me in her suburban with my brother. They get out and start pushing me, with not much avail. Then this other guy got out of his car and pushed, which helped a lot. I made it almost up my little hill and then I got stuck again, I was just about to park and walk up the hill the rest of the way, but my car kicked into gear and made it. I was very angry, for some reason, driving is one thing that really sets me off! I have very little patience while driving, its quite sad haha. I'm very chill except for when there is a slow driver in front of me or something. So thats my rant haha!!

I am going to add a picture of the snow in my front yard, I was gonna take more pictures but my camera died! All the snow you see came TODAY. Yeah... it was bad.

Its that time again :)

I can't believe its Christmas tomorrow already!! Its come so fast, I suppose thats how it goes when you work in retail, the days mesh together. Its also a time when you tell the people you love that you love them :) Well I love you guys! I love my family, I love my little brother who is on his mission and is doing so well, even though I miss him so much! I love my friends, each and every one of you!! I just wanted to let you all know :)

Sometimes I wonder if where I am in life is the right place. I wonder if I should have done something differently to get to a different place. I wonder, if I hadn't wasted my time waiting for something I thought was mine, would my life be different? If I had focused on school instead of playing around, I could be so much farther ahead in life, not wondering where the past 4 years have gone. Am I supposed to be where I am?? What is my plan in life? I know of only one person who knows that right now, and I suppose I need to put my trust in him. But it still sucks looking back and wondering how you got in the mess you are in. I just needed a place to vent, thanks for listening guys :)

I was looking back on pictures of myself on Facebook and I found one that was fun to take!!! Me and my sister Miranda realized you can jump on your trampoline and pose mid-flight! Its really fun, sorry you can barely see my shorts. I wasn't very modest I suppose, but that must have been my short shorts rebellious stage haha :)

Other than that though, cool picture eh?? I think that was the same night I took a picture of lightning, yeah, its a sa-WEET picture. I can't find it though, so I am very sorry, you can't see it!! Ha!

15 Random Things About Me-

So I saw that another fellow blogger did this on her blog, and I decided to give it a whirl!! Here are 15 random things about me that maybe you didn't know!!

1- My best friend is a boy. His name is Josh and he makes me laugh, but no, we are not dating and most likely never will! And thats ok :)

2- I really like shopping. A lot. Like, a lot.

3- I love to read, and I'm really fast!! I can usually read an average size book, like Harry Potter or something in like a week, if I'm pacing myself. If I have all the time in the world, make it 2-3 days, depends. I can pace myself so it takes longer but I don't like to, I like to know what happens!!! One time I read Sherlock Holmes, all of his stories in 2 books and it took 3 months!!! I was so annoyed with myself because I usually read faster than that but this was a hard book to read and I could only read at work, man, that was a trying time! :)

4- I have to keep my fingernails painted at all times. I have bitten my nails since I was 6, and it is a reallllly hard habit to break, because if I get stressed, mad or anything, I bite them, regardless of what is on my nails!! In order to stop myself, I have to keep my nails painted, but, the nail polish only last a couple days because it either gets chipped off or I pick at it. So my nails change colors a couple times a week. Its pretty intense!!

5- I am a professional gift wrapper, yeah, its pretty sweet I know! I have worked at Dillards for a year, therefore, I am good at what I do. I'm very picky now, because I have to make my bows right there when I am wrapping, I don't like to use the pre-made bows, even though I made them! I just like them to be new I guess.

6- I am still getting allergy shots, or, as they call it, immunotherapy. They basically give me whatever I'm allergic to, which is basically everything that is alive besides humans. I get 3 shots a week, whenever I get them my arm swells up and I have to take 2 Benadryls, which knock me out, its pretty fun, let me just tell you!! I am grateful that I get these shots though, I can tell a difference for sure!!

7- I have been single for exactly a year today. I just realized this as I was typing my list... Weird. I haven't gone on a real date since my ex. After him, I adopted the theory that dating is just too painful, if I didn't know I was going to marry a guy, I don't want to waste their time. Its not this intense now, thats just how I felt after my ex.

8- I love music!! I recently lost all of my songs and I only have a little bit compared to what I had and it is KILLING ME!! I miss all the stuff I had and I have no way to get it all back, unless you guys want to donate good music to my cause? I would be totally ok with this :)

9- I am SO SO excited for Harry Potter right now, you guys have no idea whatsoever!!! It will be utterly spectacular :D

10- I decided I like the Trolli Brite Sour Octopus' instead of the Brite Sour Gummy Worms. The Octopus ones are so much tastier and fun to eat!!

11- My favorite season is spring, even though thats when I have the most allergic reactions, its just perfect, not too cold not too hot!! I do love summer nights a lot though too, you can stay out all night and it doesn't get cold!!

12- My stereo system in my room sounds like a club when I play the right songs. Its quite wonderful!!

13- Speaking of my room, I daresay its exactly where I want it to be right now, I love everything about it!! I'm very proud of how it looks :) I got the best yellow antique chair that was meant to be in my room!

14- When I wear my tallest heels, my Blue Steve Maddens, I am 6 foot 3 inches!! I only wear them sometimes though, they hurt my feet and I don't like being tooo tall!

And Last, but certainly not least:

15- I have at least 60 pairs of shoes!!! Yeah, its pretty awesome :)

HARRY POTTER!!!!

Ok so I had a request to blog about my favorite subject today and I decided that it was a very good idea!! Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows Part One is coming out NEXT Friday!! Seriously I have never been so excited for something!! I am most definetly a Harry Potter geek, for sure! Everytime a commercial for the movie comes on when we are watching T.V., I make whoever I'm with rewind so I can watch it, even though I have seen it already!!!

Did you guys know that Daniel Radcliffe (Harry Potter) is 6 days older than me!? I could totally date him, and it would be legit. I do think he may be sort of short though, in the last movie, Ginny was taller than Harry! Who is your favorite Harry Potter Character?

I got a sweet jacket yesterday, it was a bit of a scary purchase, I usually don't spend money like that but everyone I have talked to has said it was a good purchase! I will put pictures in my next blog post. Its a sweet military jacket, I LOVE IT!!

Ok, its official, I want to go to the Acorn Antique Show and Sale SOOOOOO BADLY!!!!! Just check this website out!! I daresay if I attend said event I may not come out with any money. Just sayin. I don't know what it is about antiques, but I just LOVE them. I mostly like to collect the antique jewelry, ya know, the big earrings and stuff? I am really picky about which earrings I wear but I have found that I am more likely to go for older stuff that you usually see old ladies wearing. It makes a more retro look which is awesome!! I also recently bought a sweet old yellow antique chair from the D.I., its totally freaking awesome, I will get a picture of it after I charge my camera!!

BRASIL!

Well, Skyler is officially in Brasil! He left yesterday at 12:45 in the afternoon for Texas and landed at 3:30 our time. He had a 3 hour layover in which time he called us and talked for quite some time!!! It was probably about 45 minutes!!! It was awesome, I can't believe he is out there!!

Let me explain how he found out he was leaving! He was in class, and someone came over the intercom and asked if Skyler Fielding was in the class. He said everyone just got really quiet and looked at him. After a minute of silence the lady said, "Its nothing bad, I just need him to come to the travel office!" So he went and found out his Visa got approved!! So he called and let us know he was leaving and talked to us for a while. So then he left!! Its been crazy, he just loves missionary life, he is getting used to it. I just love him so much!!! My brother is awesome!!!

Hey Folks!!

So I changed the music on my blog :) I basically love all of that right now its the best!

I got my new drivers license because I'm 21 now, and my picture looks just... well.... retarded! The left half of my face must have had some sort of spasm right at the last minute so I'm squinting and my mouth is sorta closed. Ah I wish I could have taken a good picture!! I guess its alright but I don't love it!

My missionary is home :) Its so weird he is back but I talked to him yesterday, he is doing good, I'm not going to post too many details though, but I'll tell you I thought it went really well even though I was so nervous I was shaking and probably talked faster than I normally do!! He probably thought I was having issues or that I was crazy or somthing hahahahaha :)

Skyler has been gone for about a week now, its so crazy!!! I can't believe he is gone still, I miss him, anytime Miranda goes into her room, which was Skyler's room, I think its him, its totally throwing me off!

Sooo lets just say my life has been interesting lately :) Skyler left for his mission yesterday, we dropped him off at the crosswalk of the MTC, they have a new system for doing things I suppose. It was so crazy to see him go, as soon as I can I will get pictures up for you guys to enjoy!
I absolutely cannot wait for my Mish to come home! In one point, I'm terrified! I have no idea what to expect with him, and second I'm very excited!! Its been two years I can't wait to see how things turn out!!

Well, yesterday was my dear brother Skyler's mission farewell!! He is leaving in a week and 2 days... Gah!!!! Its super weird, honestly it still hasn't hit me. He is getting all ready and stuff its just weird to think I won't see him for two years...



On the bright side, my missionary comes home in a WEEK and 4 days!! OH MY WORD!!! That still hasn't hit me yet either! It still feels like its 3 months away I can't even believe it. I'm honestly terrified/nervous!! I have no idea what to expect so its scary!!!

8- Thor



Thor was born of the Gods. He was training to get the Hammer his father has to keep justice, but he couldn't pick up the hammer. His best friend got kidnapped so he finally picked up the hammer and now protects the world! Woo!!

7- Captain America



I'm not gonna lie, I can't really remember to much about him. He was a World War Two soldier that they put some sort of stuff in his body that made him sort of a super soldier. He has super strength but his sheild is in Iron Man 2 and Captain America has a movie coming out next year!!

Can I just say, Wonder Woman is probably the coolest woman superhero! She has a lasso of justice. And she is a WOMAN!! Woot!!

I only really think of Flash because of my old roommate Ashley! We used to call her Flash. Anyway, one reason I like Flash is because he runs really fast, and, one of my favorite bands in the world, Queen, sings his theme song!! Its called Flash, look it up :)

Ok, he isn't really a superhero, he is a God. But still, I think he is pretty cool, he has super strength and he is a legit hero!! Bam!

Dead Computer!!

Well, it finally happened. My computer gave up the ghost!! Its quite sad, I now have to use the computer upstairs in the kitchen.. Oh well. The bottom pretty much detached from the top, so there is no way to fix it. It hasn't really hit that I don't have my own computer yet, I'm sure it will soon :(

Because of this issue, I probably won't be posting as much as I used to, which makes me very sad!!!

Also, California was AWESOME!!! I'll post pictures as soon as I figure something out... I'm super sunburnt though, so thats poopy, but its ok!! I had a lot of fun with my friends, we haven't hung out like that in a while!! Don't worry, I will go into detail soon!!!

Fingernails

So my fingernails are grown out.. Its kinda weird, not going to lie! I'm so used to biting my nails, I have since I was six! I first tried to stop when I was dating my ex, and I did, but when we broke up I started again. I have finally stopped(mostly), but its kind of strange, I'm not really used to having long natural nails, I don't know how to deal with them! Do you guys have any weird habits you had to get rid of? How did you do it?

I am basically broke trying to save for my California vacation right now!! Its gonna be so worth it!! I cannot wait to see my girlies! :D

My allergies have been bugging me a lot today, its not very fun! How about you guys?? Anything? Well, I don't really have much to say today, but have a good day!!

So, its been like a week... Yeah... about that... I'm sorry!!!!

There was like a 3 or 4 day period where I didn't feel like pulling my laptop out from under my bed, so I didn't, therefore, I didn't blog. Yeah... Lame, I know! So anyway, what have you guys been up to? Any big news or big happenings??

Lets go over my day :) I got paid yesterday, well, Wednesday, its like 12:08 now, but anyway, I have been having issues with my car, and so now I am totally broke. Seriously right?! Part of it I was expecting, but the first time I fixed my car it was a hose that had a hole in it, and I didn't want my car to blow up, ya know? It was super fun, so then today I had to get my brakes fixed, it was just a party!! So, yeah :)

Thats about the gist of my day I suppose, besides the fact that Miranda and I went on a walk at like 10:30 with a foam sword and a plastic lightsaber. We were not really put in danger, but if we had been, we would have squandered the foe!! We basically have mad skills!

I decided I need to get a good hobby, I don't really do much of anything anymore, and its making me rethink things, this is gonna be a good summer, I know it! What do you guys like to do for fun that gets you out meeting people?? I also decided I'm finally gonna start saving for school, Mary at work told me how she did it, and, it might be hard, and I might not be able to step foot in the mall on my lunch breaks, but I bet I could do it!

Let me clear something up for you guys though, I'm not lazy!!! I work a lot, and so when I'm off I just kinda sit at home like, 'hmmm, what do I do?' So, I am gonna start doing more!! I'm gonna get in shape as it gets nicer, I have to for when I go to California in like two weeks, gotta look good in my swimsuit! Ah!

Ok, my brain is running on like 3 different tracks now, I'm super tired, if you couldn't tell :)

Well, I had today off, and once again, I did nothing!! Woooooo!!!
Its no big deal really :)

Haha seriously though, when I'm off I just don't know what to do with my life!? Its super weird! I should have done the rest of my massive life-sucking pile of laundry, yes its that bad, and, I should have gotten my brakes done, but I found out its gonna be a lot more than we originally thought... I was also planning on making this fancy 4 cheese mac' and cheese, it was super fancy, but I didn't. I couldn't find the recipe when I went to the store... So, the only thing I did that I planned was get my shots. They hurt really bad today though :( I think I reacted a bit more this time, so the place where I got my shots is really sensitive :/

Thats fine, I really just hung out and couldn't figure out what to do, even though I had plenty haha, one of those days!!

JUNE?!

Well, its June first people!! JUNE FIRST!! Isn't it usually warm and semi-nice right around this time of year? I don't mean to complain, because we really need the water, and I don't mind the rain, and, I guess I'm at work all day anyway, so really, this long run-on sentence was pointless... Hmmm..

I'm a little tired I guess?? So guess what happened today!? Well, technically, last night!! I had the weirdest dream about some random guy I work with, and I forgot about it until he came up to get change from me, and it was so awkward, because he wouldn't go away!! He just kept talking haha, it was so weird!! Have you guys ever had that happen?? What happened??

So I don't really have that much going on lately, just working a lot, which is ok I suppose. I did some laundry, which is nice. I have clean socks!! :D

So I know a girl at work whose now ex boyfriend is a total jerk! I won't go into details, but I made her chocolate covered cinnamon bears, because I remember when I broke up with my ex and was having a hard time, my best friends helped out and one made me like 5 pounds of that wonderful-ness. I made a lot, so I took the extras with me to share with the other girls I work with. It was so funny though because this older lady I work with was utterly amazed with them!! She looked at me like I had invented something that would change the world! I wish I could say I invented them, but someone already holds that blessed title.

Anyway, she was so excited when I told her I made them that she offered to bring me chocolate and cinnamon bears so I could make her some. I tried to tell her that they are avalible at any grocery store. Haha, so I suppose when she brings the stuff, I will be making more chocolate covered cinnamon bears. Thats fine! For those of you who have not experienced this heavenly treat, STOP READING MY BLOG AND BUY SOME!! Kidding, this is almost over, read the rest and THEN go buy some!! K deal???

Memorial Day

Well hey there everyone!! Today is Memorial Day :)

I just want to take a minute and say how grateful I am for the war vetrans who made it possible for us to live in this country. I don't know where we would be without them!! What a wonderful, free country we live in!!!!



Memorial Day is also for remembering loved ones that have passed on. My brother Adam was stillborn 8 years ago. I love him so much and since we won't be able to go see him in Orem, I just wanted to say I love you Adam!!! <3

Days off?

So I have today and tomorrow off, and I'm not quite sure how to deal with this!! I have worked so much lately that I was having a hard time convincing myself I was off today!!

Since I do not work today, I'm at an utter loss at what to do with my life haha! This is just so weird I'm off, I can't say it enough hahaha!! Anyway, thats really all I have to say today!!

3 months folks!

Let me just tell you guys that this next three months are going to be very interesting. I'm not excited for it to come because my bestest friend and brother Skyler is leaving me on his mission to Brazil, but, I have a missionary coming home that same month, so it will be quite a thrill to see how things unfold.
In a way, I hope it goes by fast, because I don't know how I can handle life anymore haha. I also hope that it goes slow, because I am going to miss Skyler sooooooo much!! Meh.

I just wanted to vent to someone about a bit of my worries, thanks for listening :)

Sooo anyway, GUESS WHAT!?! I got my stuff from Urban Outfitters, all of it was clearance, so I got 2 pairs of shoes, a metal hanging lantern and a set of two pillowcases for 24 bucks!! I know right? My camera is officially dead, so I borrowed my sister's battery, shh no one knows! +They are sooo cute!! Also, I need to show you the super cute Jessica Simpson shoes I got from Dillards yesterday, they are having a sale, and, I am SUCH a sucker for these dang sales! I mean, $90.00 shoes for $20.00???? I THINK SO!!!

First off, I found these awesome glasses at Wal-Mart, yes, I know they look retarded, but I like them! You are welcome!

Next in line, these awesome pillowcases!! They come as a pair, so I feel weird using one by myself, haha I mean, I think they are meant to be on two pillows for two people. But they are way cute too!! They both look the same, just like THIS!!!



And for my grand finale!! My Jessica Simpson Platform heels, I had a hard time getting a good picture of them so you could see the whole shoe, so I hope you can get the essence of the Jessica Simpson shoe! Sooo cute!!





Yay for spending money!! But seriously, now I'm saving so I can go to California with my old roomies and best buddies!! I am so excited to go, but guess what I have to do to get three days off in a week without vacation pay?? Yeah, I get to work open to close THREE days in a row! Ooooh so much fun, I can totally tell you guys are jealous of me, hahahaha I make myself laugh!!

Guess what else I realized!? I have been graduated for 3 years, that is so crazy! Time goes by fast when you think about it, unless you are watching every second right??

Have you ever known you had to tell someone the truth, even though it could damage a friendship but you know it would be good for you? Well, folks, thats basically what just happened to me. No specifics, but I had to tell a good friend exactly what I was thinking, how I felt about our friendship, why it can't be more, even though I sorta want it to be. But I can't. I will not go through that again. It was utter misery, dating someone when I knew I wasn't going to end up with them, and the relationship would only end in sadness, and knowing that I was just hurting myself more than anything. Why it can't just feel normal I'm not actually sure, but whatever the reason, things happen the way they are supposed to and they are not supposed to happen any other way... right? Tell me I'm not crazy guys.
