A Story

I KNOW I AM BEING A SLACKER FACE I am SOOO sorry!!!!
Instead of blogging, I have been taking pictures, I know, silly Savannah!

I finally finished Sherlock Holmes, it took me like 2 months to finish. Seriously, that is the longest it has ever taken me to read a book! I am a generally fast reader and so I read books real quick, ya know? Anyway, now that I'm done with it, I don't have anything to do. Today, I started writing a story, I don't know how its gonna turn out but its gonna be in parts. Here goes :)

A Story by Savannah

THIS is a story about a girl. A girl who was in love with a boy. Now, when most of you read a sentence such as this, you think of the typical romance novel. For example, when the two people are introduced in the beginning of the book, you know they are destined to be together. After some time of either a) coincedentally meeting them everywhere or b) being forced to communicate with this person, they slowly begin to realize that they were meant for one another.
At this point, they are both in love with one another but most likely too prideful to admit it, but then, catastrophe! Shortly after their love has been discovered, something terrible occurs! Usually its something uber dramatic and something that would usually never happen in real life, such as the woman gets kidnapped by some wrongdoers who hated her father's uncle. In order to get revenge upon this womans father's uncle, they decide to kidnap his favorite great neice and plan to marry her to her father's uncle's worst enemy!
In some way or another, the poor young lady is freed by the young man who realizes that the whole time he loved her and his life never would be complete without her. He finds her and brings along the entire police force and squanders a huge scandal.
In the end, they tell one another of their love, only to be surprised that the other person loves them too. The story ends with the couple married or at least happy for the rest of their lives.
Well. This is not one of those stories. This is a story about a woman who, even when she had opportunities to fall in love, decided to hold off for something she knew was greater. She had pains of all sorts, hard decisions to make, yet she made them with a brave face, or at least a brave face where everyone could see her. I will tell you now, this is a love story. But, it didn't just come to this girl. She had to realize what she wanted and not let anything get in her way. Love is the greatest thing a person will ever do, if it is true love, and why would she mess it up by being with someone she didn't truly love? This is a story of a girl.
To be continued....

Song of the Blog: I Want To Break Free by Queen. Just because its awesome!

Well...

I'm not actually sure what to think right now.

I keep trying to meet boys for fun, but then something happens and I remember why I stopped caring about them. Seriously, I decided I'm bitter against guys. I don't even know why I just am. Have you guys ever felt like that? I just feel like nothing is working out because I am waiting for something special that will. Hopefully I'm not just dreaming, ho ho hopefully.

Well, we finally got a new person in Customer Service!! Yay!!! I'm super excited! She is 19, but she is really cool and a lot like me, just like my boss said!! My boss told me she was just like me, so not to be too loud... she knows me too well! Anyway, that was exciting! My day wasn't going to well today, but this girl was really nice and I was a lot happier when I left work, it was nice.

I don't really have a lot going on right now, sorry for the lack of updatedness...

Song of the Blog: What Sarah Said by Death Cab for Cutie. I love the piano part in this song, its so pretty, and the song is very chill and relaxing. Just what I need right now to calm my troubled emotional soul :)

My Apologies, Watson.

I'm very sorry I have been slacking off lately!! Bad Savannah!!

You guys wanna know what I just barely did?? Just barely, right now! I just wrote a whole letter in Italian to my missionary! It was so freaking hard, but if he can even understand it it will be awesome!!! I went on to dictionary.com and clicked translate and wrote what I wanted to say, and then I wrote it down in Italian! He probably thinks I'm crazy because I just send tons of random letters, even though I don't get letters from him very often.
For example, when I got a letter from him in February, it was 3 pages, I was so excited that I wrote back SIX pages to him!! Then, about a week later, I was so bored at work, so, on the little cards you use to write notes to people on the presents I wrap, I wrote him a MINI letter with a MINI envelope! Then, because I figured they probably wouldn't send a letter that was that tiny, I put it in a medium sized envelope. After I sealed that, I wrote, 'what, another envelope??' After that, I put his letter in a big standard sized envelope!! Yeah, its like Alice and Wonderland or something! I have so much fun writing him random letters, hopefully he doesnt think I'm too crazy!! Its kind of crazy though, because he only has 5 months left!! Ca-razy!!
What have you guys done lately thats fun and crazy? Tell me!!
I only have two more stories left in Sherlock Holmes! I started the first volume in I think February, and I'm just finishing the second volume, it has taken me so long to read nothing has ever taken me this long!! You see, I'm a very fast reader, but Sherlock Holmes has been such a challenge to read becaue its in old English. This may sound retarded but I like to read it aloud so I sound like an old English Brit in the Victorian Era. Its so freaking awesome!
Seriously, you try getting through a sentence like this, but really the whole book:

"On the face of it the case is not a very complex one, though it certainly presents some novel and interesting features. A further knowledge of facts is neccessary before I woud venture to give a final and definite opinion. By the way, Mr. Barnes, did you find anything remarkable besides this note in your examination of the house?"

Tell me you didn't try saying it out loud, and I will know you are lying!! Haha :)

I have really loved the challenge of reading it though, its very very interesting and a challenge! Love it and recommend it for anyone who loves reading!!

"By the Lord, it is as well with you. If you had killed Watson, you would not have got out of the room alive. Now, sir, what have you to say for yourself?"
Sherlock Holmes in 'The Adventure of The Three Garridebs"

Anyway, I hope you have a fantastic wonderful night/day!!

Sooo I have been thinking...

Weird I know!! Haha totally kidding :)

Seriously though, the question I have been thinking about a lot lately is this. Who comes up with when holidays are? Like, who decides that Easter is the 4th of April this year? Seriously you guys this is a legit question and I want answers!! Its too late right now for me to look it up myself, so if you guys get the chance you should look it up and let me know? Its a matter of life and death, for realsies!!

Sooo, I haven't been up to much lately, just working a lot and being awesome, those two take up a lot of my time, so I stay pretty busy :D.
How are you guys doing? Any new romances in you single ladies lives? Do tell I love when people are in love, it makes me happy for them!!

Anyway, have a good night, sleep tight!!

Easter and other Mishaps!

Well folks!!? How was your Easter?? I finally got my charger for my computer YAY!! I had a fun Easter. This wonderful Easter, my extended family came up for the last session of Conference and then we had a really good dinner and an EASTER EGG HUNT!!!

Its been a while since I have written on here, and its kinda late, and I'm kinda tired, I had an awkward situation tonight....

So I got off work tonight and it was snowing like it was the middle of December! Seriously, it was a freaking blizzard it was ridiculous. My car is covered in snow, so I get in my car to turn it on so it will get warm and help melt the snow while I clean it off. I did it all the time during wintertime, but this time, for some stupid reason, I LOCKED my car!! So I clean off my car and go to open the door, and... a few words I normally try not to say came out of my mouth! So, I'm standing there as a string of profanity keeps me warm in the freaking blizzard and notice a girl I work with is still cleaning off her car.. I ask her if I can use her phone and call my Dad. Of course I don't have any spare keys anywhere except in my purse, for some reason I have 3 keys in there. A lot of good that's gonna do for me when I LOCK MYSELF OUT OF MY CAR!

Anyway, so the girl says she will stay, but I tell her to go home cuz its freezing and the snow is piling fast. I'm kinda praying that my car will magically unlock or something will happen and about five minutes later, a Mall Security Guard drives past and I flag him down. At this point, I'm really cold and upset, so I'm crying when I ask the SG if he can unlock my car. He says he can't, because of some liability issue and invites me to sit in his car while I wait for my Dad to come save me. We get to talking and I take my gloves off. He notices and says, "Oh you are married??" I look down at my hand and realize I have my fake rings on, I was really really irritated with a guy at work today so, in some sort of revenge to him, I put it on the rest of the day and forgot about it. So, I reply,

"Yeah..."

Then he asks me,

"How long have you been married?"

I managed to spit out,

"2 months!"

So he starts asking me questions, and I realize I'm just digging my grave deeper and deeper, and then he asks why my 'husband' isn't here? So I just blurted out,

"He's in... Chicago!"

I was very surprised that these answers came out, I don't know where they came from!! Haha so I made up that he was in Chicago working on computer stuff, I don't know what he would need to do in Chicago with computers that he can't do here, but thats where he 'was.'

So my dad finally drives up, and I'm really hoping the Security Guard doesnt say anything to my dad about my 'husband' not being here, so I just made a quick escape and hopped out with a big thanks to that guy, he waited with me for twenty minutes, I surely would have been soaking wet and really sick or something. So I get in my dad's car and the locksmith is on his way. He comes and pops something in and unlocks it in like five seconds seriously. Guess how much my lovely mistake costed?? 80 dollars!!! So I took the two extra keys out of my purse and dispensed them around my house just in case something like this happens agan...

Nonetheless, I pretty much say it was a very stressful ordeal, I hope my 'husband' isn't too worried over in Chicago!!
Hahahahahahahahahaha

What I wish it looked like right now outside:
