Memorial Day

Well hey there everyone!! Today is Memorial Day :)

I just want to take a minute and say how grateful I am for the war vetrans who made it possible for us to live in this country. I don't know where we would be without them!! What a wonderful, free country we live in!!!!



Memorial Day is also for remembering loved ones that have passed on. My brother Adam was stillborn 8 years ago. I love him so much and since we won't be able to go see him in Orem, I just wanted to say I love you Adam!!! <3

Days off?

So I have today and tomorrow off, and I'm not quite sure how to deal with this!! I have worked so much lately that I was having a hard time convincing myself I was off today!!

Since I do not work today, I'm at an utter loss at what to do with my life haha! This is just so weird I'm off, I can't say it enough hahaha!! Anyway, thats really all I have to say today!!

3 months folks!

Let me just tell you guys that this next three months are going to be very interesting. I'm not excited for it to come because my bestest friend and brother Skyler is leaving me on his mission to Brazil, but, I have a missionary coming home that same month, so it will be quite a thrill to see how things unfold.
In a way, I hope it goes by fast, because I don't know how I can handle life anymore haha. I also hope that it goes slow, because I am going to miss Skyler sooooooo much!! Meh.

I just wanted to vent to someone about a bit of my worries, thanks for listening :)

Thats the best way to listen to music anytime, especially when you are having a bad day or something.

Ba-Dow Wow Boo Dop!

Yeah, once again thinking of weird titles, but ya know, its wha I do folks! Y'all can't change me foo!

Sooo anyway, GUESS WHAT!?! I got my stuff from Urban Outfitters, all of it was clearance, so I got 2 pairs of shoes, a metal hanging lantern and a set of two pillowcases for 24 bucks!! I know right? My camera is officially dead, so I borrowed my sister's battery, shh no one knows! +They are sooo cute!! Also, I need to show you the super cute Jessica Simpson shoes I got from Dillards yesterday, they are having a sale, and, I am SUCH a sucker for these dang sales! I mean, $90.00 shoes for $20.00???? I THINK SO!!!

First off, I found these awesome glasses at Wal-Mart, yes, I know they look retarded, but I like them! You are welcome!



Ok, now the good stuff!!

Next, my awesome Vans look-a-likes! They are soooo cute!! Let me just tell you guys, I'm gonna look awesome this summer, no big deal!



Next, this awesome metal hanging lantern! Not sure what I'm gonna do with it, but I'll find something, maybe if I ever move out.. But seriously, its so so cute!!



Next in line, these awesome pillowcases!! They come as a pair, so I feel weird using one by myself, haha I mean, I think they are meant to be on two pillows for two people. But they are way cute too!! They both look the same, just like THIS!!!



And for my grand finale!! My Jessica Simpson Platform heels, I had a hard time getting a good picture of them so you could see the whole shoe, so I hope you can get the essence of the Jessica Simpson shoe! Sooo cute!!





Yay for spending money!! But seriously, now I'm saving so I can go to California with my old roomies and best buddies!! I am so excited to go, but guess what I have to do to get three days off in a week without vacation pay?? Yeah, I get to work open to close THREE days in a row! Ooooh so much fun, I can totally tell you guys are jealous of me, hahahaha I make myself laugh!!

Guess what else I realized!? I have been graduated for 3 years, that is so crazy! Time goes by fast when you think about it, unless you are watching every second right??

Anyway, I gotta head to beddy-bye, my dad always says that, silly silly-head!!

Have you ever known you had to tell someone the truth, even though it could damage a friendship but you know it would be good for you? Well, folks, thats basically what just happened to me. No specifics, but I had to tell a good friend exactly what I was thinking, how I felt about our friendship, why it can't be more, even though I sorta want it to be. But I can't. I will not go through that again. It was utter misery, dating someone when I knew I wasn't going to end up with them, and the relationship would only end in sadness, and knowing that I was just hurting myself more than anything. Why it can't just feel normal I'm not actually sure, but whatever the reason, things happen the way they are supposed to and they are not supposed to happen any other way... right? Tell me I'm not crazy guys.

Utter Frustration

Hey Folks! I think I need to vent for a second if thats ok. I have this friend, who shall remain unnamed. We got into a discussion about dating, and he started telling me about how all girls are just into money, success and status. I started to kinda fight it and he started bringing up 'scientific facts' about how he was right. I am usually not as forward with people, but I have told him just what I was thinking! He was telling me he hasn't dated in so long, and then he blames it on us girls?? Ok, I can think of like, 2 girls that would maybe, possibly be like that, and they aren't real people, just tv show stars and whatnot. I will not lie, money is an extra bonus, but I don't go around seeing who is rich and turning down the cute ones who are flat broke. I look for a good guy that will take care of me even if we are so poor we have to live in a shack. I look for love. I don't give a damn about money (sorry I swore), but if thats how guys think, there is something majorly wrong in the system. Arg it just made me so mad!!

What do you guys think about this???

Second item of venting :) Thanks for being patient, but its been sooooo much fun today! Don't you just love when customers come up and try to tell you your business when they are totally wrong? I keep getting customers who come and complain about my GIFT WRAP CHOICES. Seriously. I had this lady come up and immediatly say, "I hate all of them!" So, being the nice person I try to be, I brought out the old wrap she wanted and then she argued with me on the ribbon! It a purple ribbon, but she told me that she has been coming here for five years, and we have never had purple ribbon!! First off, we have only had that wrap for maybe a year, maybe less. Second, we have ALWAYS had purple ribbon on that wrap. So I started telling her about how we never have, and this lady starts freaking. So, the new girl cuts in and says how we are not supposed to change the ribbon, and the lady looks at me and says, "Well, at least some people are willing to help their customers nicely!" OOH I was so pissed I could have screamed. Afterwards, the new girl told me I was soooo rude to that customer when really I wasn't. It was so awesome, let me just tell you how happy the rest of my day went. It must not be my week or something!

Oh well, I'm just gonna change my attitude! Its the customer, not me. They don't control my feelings, I DO!!! I'm just hoping the good attitude stays :) Wish me luck!

Oh how I love Music!

Lately, its been hard for me to decide what music I want to listen to! Usually, I'm in the mood for something, but it hasn't been that way as of late. I daresay its been quite frustrating. I have been listening to Angels and Airwaves a lot, but it hasn't quite hit the spot!

Anyway, the meaning of me telling you this is because I have found what I have been craving! Ah man I just love it!!

Ok, ready to hear it?? Frank Sinatra, Marilyn Monroe, BB King! I just love the feel of that old jazz, seriously, it just takes me back, to, when I was a girl in that day and age? Ok Ok, I know it doesn't make sense, but still, its just wonderful music!

Seriously, just look at Frank Sinatra, that should be a legit explanation for those of you who are doubting me!!




Not only do I love the old singers, some singers, for example, MICHAEL BUBLE, are just as amazing! What do you guys think about my music choice for now??? Don't worry, I changed my whole playlist to this kind of music, so you guys don't have to look it up, you can just close your eyes, listen and enjoy :)
